Oral care company receives seal of approval from dental charity

The Oral Health Foundation has announced the official accreditation of Dent & Go’s latest oral health products.
The accreditation signifies that Dent & Go product claims have undergone rigorous evaluation by the charity’s independent panel of internationally recognised experts. This provides reassurance for the consumer and the dental team, that the claimed benefits of using these products are not misleading.
The accreditation encompasses Dent & Go's range of oral care products, from manual and electric toothbrushes, a denture cleansing brush, interdental cleaning accessories and a tongue cleaner.
The oral care company has also introduced a feature on their packaging, QR codes, which link patients to a range of informative videos and animations. The educational resource provides clear instructions on product usage and valuable tips to help patients maintain optimal oral health.
The idea to provide consumers with public health information was down to Dent & Go’s founder, Waqar Mustafa, who is both a dentist, and an entrepreneur.
Waqar said, “We are proud to offer a range of products that not only provide people with the tools they need to maintain a healthy mouth, but that also provides easy-to-follow video guidance, giving people confidence that they can achieve optimum results from their oral health routine."
Nigel Carter, chief executive of the Oral Health Foundation, has congratulated Dent & Go on achieving this prestigious accreditation. He said, "We are pleased to extend our seal of approval to Dent & Go's oral healthcare products.
“In an era where oral health concerns are prevalent, it's crucial for people to have access to useful products and trusted information to help them take care of their teeth and gums at home, in between dental visits.
“Dent & Go's commitment to education aligns with our mission to promote optimal oral health for all.”
Dent & Go believes accreditation is significant for assuring patients of the quality and effectiveness of their products. Waqar added, "Receiving accreditation from the Oral Health Foundation is a testament to Dent & Go's dedication to excellence in oral care”.
The Oral Health Foundation's ‘Accreditation Programme’ is the gold standard for oral care products, signifying independent verification of the benefits claimed on pack.
Dent & Go's accredited products will now feature the Oral Health Foundation's ‘Approved’ mark, symbolising their credibility as useful aids in oral health.
