Mydentist has undertaken a significant merge, relocation and expansion of its Walsall practice following a substantial investment of £1.4m.

The new Mydentist Walsall practice, which is now located on 2 Digbeth, St Matthew’s Quarter, was officially launched by practice manager, Conor Batty, and his team on April 3, 2025.

The practice team were joined by a special guest appearance from local celebrity and Married at First Sight star Sacha Jones, who is a patient at the practice and resident of Walsall. Kickstarting the celebrations, Sacha joined Conor in cutting the ribbon to officially open the practice.

Conor commented, "I am delighted to reveal the new facilities and flexibility of appointment times that we can now offer to our patients. With our recent enhancements and expanded services, we're well-placed to deliver a higher level of dental care and provide an even more exceptional experience to our community. We look forward to welcoming patients into the practice over the coming weeks and months."

Following a project lasting just over two years, all the dentists and staff from the previous Walsall site on 1-4 Arcade Balcony have moved to the new site on Philip Murray Road, where patient appointments are now underway.

The move marks a substantial enhancement for the 8,000 patients of Mydentist Walsall, who will benefit from a modern, state-of-the-art practice, a greater range of dental treatments and technology, as well as improved travel links and wheelchair and disabled access.

There are nine surgeries available in total at the practice.

Baljinder Kaur, Mydentist area development manager, commented, “We’ve been working very hard to relocate to a more accessible site in Walsall, so to see the new practice finally open is fantastic, and it was great to be joined by Sacha Jones for the official ribbon cutting. With nine modern surgeries we now have much more choice for patients, plus our team are benefitting from improved facilities. Our aim was to meet the needs of our patients and our team here in Walsall now and in the future, and feedback so far has been extremely positive.”

Sacha said, “I’m so excited to join the practice team in their celebrations and the new practice looks incredible. The difference between the old practice and new one is amazing and I’m currently undergoing Boutique Diamond teeth whitening treatment at Mydentist. The care I’ve received so far has been fantastic and the team are so welcoming – not to mention the beautiful practice.”
