Donation to support Ukraine

Simplyheath, the UK’s leading health solutions provider, has announced further funding in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Earlier in 2022, Simplyhealth matched donations raised by colleagues, corporates, dentists and customers to donate £120,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC). Simplyhealth has committed a further £90,000 to be divided between Computer Aid, HALO Trust and Unity.

Misleading nutrition

New research by Action on Sugar (based at the Queen Mary University of London) has revealed worrying levels of sugars have been added unnecessarily to breakfast foods intended for babies and toddlers, with some containing four teaspoons of sugar per pouch. That’s despite government guidance that no added sugars, including those from processed fruit, should be consumed by children up to two years old.
