Dental school in the East
The University of East Anglia (UEA) has welcomed the government’s ‘Dental Recovery Plan’, which affirms a commitment to provide additional NHS dental services. UEA hopes that the government will soon allow it to provide undergraduate dental training and create a dental school.

GDC rules and fees update
The General Dental Council (GDC) has agreed to new rules for registering internationally qualified dental care professionals from March 9, 2024. A new application processing fee for overseas-qualified professionals who want to sit the Overseas Registration Exam (ORE) has also been agreed upon.
