The British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN) has announced its February ‘Coffee Catchup’ on workplace bullying will be free for all participants.

The Coffee Catchup will be held via Teams on February 22, 2025, at 3 pm. The topic is workplace bullying, and Pam Swain, BADN chief executive, will present it.

BADN Coffee Catchups are free to BADN members, but there is usually a charge for non-members. However, the February event will be free for everyone, including free CPD.

The association said it believes every dental nurse deserves a supportive workplace. To gain the CPD certificate, attendees must be on camera for the full presentation.

Pam’s presentation (which meets GDC’s development outcomes B and D) identifies covert bullying in the workplace, debunks common myths about bullying, enables dental nurses to recognise if they are being bullied, and provides information about what action to take.

Dental nurses wishing to attend the Coffee Catchup should register online. Although there is no charge, it is necessary to go through the ‘Proceed to Checkout’, ‘Proceed to Payment’ and ‘Submit Order’ processes on the registration page. You should then receive an email confirming your registration.
