Dental practices rebranded under Dental Scotland
A large Scottish dental chain has rebranded.
Published: 17/02/2022
Dental Scotland now has six sites across Glasgow, Falkirk, and Stirling.
These practices treat over 30,000 patients a year offering a variety of treatments ranging from general dentistry to cosmetic and private services. They invested in the growth of the practices which involved refurbishment of sites and brand-new signage.
Dental Scotland is undergoing an expansion in their head office at 1 Bridge Street Glasgow, City centre to take on numerous new dentists and staff.
They launched an initiative Project Smile which was successful and aimed to increase the oral hygiene of asylum seekers and refugees, in the Govanhill and Pollokshields areas. They also aimed to enhance their reach by supporting local influencers who came in for consultations.
Zareen Shareef, company operations managing director, said, “Dental Scotland used to operate under different names, but having a brand gives patients a practice they can trust, as well as allowing them access to various areas in Scotland for their dental care.
“This rebrand allows a comprehensive list of treatments to be offered and gives patients a diverse list of options to choose from. Dental Scotland are focused on providing them with the highest quality of patient care and making them feel comfortable at the dentist by taking into consideration delivering pain free care; taking away the ‘scary dentist’ stereotype.”
The Dental Scotland practices are:
- Bridge Street Dental Care located on 1-3 Bridge Street, Glasgow City centre
- Dental Surgery Limited on 461 Victoria Road, Glasgow, Govan
- Eglinton Dental Care on 4 Maxwell Road, Glasgow, Pollokshields
- City Dental Care on 64-66 Port Street, Stirling, Stirling city
- Dental Surgery Ltd on 37 Burghmuir Road, Stirling
- Dental Surgery Ltd on 112 Grahams Road, Falkirk
They have incorporated modern and up-to to date treatments such as Invisalign and clear braces, whilst sticking to their bread and butter offering NHS dentistry, to ensure the local members of the community have a brand they can trust for high quality NHS care; with a few private options such as composite bonding and veneers, as well as skincare e.g., Obagi, ZO, whilst also offering facial aesthetics such as dermal fillers.
Whilst keeping up to date they are welcoming dentistry to the future, with AI technology. It is a 24-hour virtual assistant which aims to increase patient contact and understanding of options and treatments whilst making life easier for the dentist by sending feedback to their individual servers. They have equipped each site with a QR code for passers-by. Scanning the QR code directly sends them to their personal virtual assistant MEGAN, who will carry out any of their needs and book them in for a consultation. Booking an appointment could not be easier!
In 2022 they are focusing on expanding further with innovative ideas and projects for the community establishing them as a key player in the dental game.
