Dental care provider, Smile Together has published its Social and Environmental Impact report titled ‘A year of giving’, for 2023/2024.

Smile Together is an employee-owned community interest company and certified B Corporation based in Cornwall. The dental care provider said they have an engaged and passionate team, who are dedicated to making a difference for those who need care most.

Mark Johnstone, chair of the board, said, “One of our four values is to be generous, to demonstrate understanding and patience and go the extra mile for our colleagues, our patients and our community.

“We deliver much-needed urgent and emergency care alongside a range of NHS referral and private services, whilst working in partnership with others to make every contact count”.

Since 2016 it has reinvested over £7m into patient facilities, their people and local communities, tackling oral health inequalities across the county. According to the organisation, they have achieved even greater impact through an integrated partnership approach.

Mark added, “A big thank you as always to our colleagues, commissioners and other partners for their commitment, resilience and support as we continue to navigate our way through our ever-evolving dental landscape, responding positively to those changes in line with our other values of being bold, inspirational and authentic.

“We’re thrilled to publish our Social and Environmental Impact Report for 2023/24, demonstrating the delivery of our vision for healthier, happier communities in such a consistently meaningful, transformative and generous way.”
