The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and the British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN) have announced that, from December 2, 2024, dental nurse members of BADN working in implants will be eligible for complementary ADI membership.

Preetee Hylton, BADN president, said, “We are delighted to be working with the ADI and offering our members the opportunity to join the ADI free of charge, in addition to the many benefits already available to BADN members. We look forward to working more closely with the ADI on mutual projects and events. We are also delighted that the ADI has become a BADN affiliate, supporting dental nurses and their professional association.”

Zaki Kanaan, ADI president, said, “We welcome this collaboration with the BADN, where their members receive complementary ADI membership. For many years the ADI have strongly believed that dentistry, especially implant dentistry, involves teamwork and we couldn't do this field of dentistry without our dental nurses.

“This link up will give BADN members access to our study clubs as well as our biannual congress meetings, where we put on speakers to help dental nurses navigate various aspects of implant dentistry. This will patients experience a seamless journey, which is the ultimate aim of both organisations.”
