BADN remains open

The office of British Association of Dental Nurses remains open.
However, BADN is asking dental nurses to email, rather than telephone, with any queries. BADN President Jacqui Elsden said: 'We would ask that any dental nurses wishing to contact BADN do so via our dedicated email address, enquiries@badn.org.uk, as this will assist us in streamlining our office procedures to enable us to provide speedier responses. Our office remains open, with staff observing necessary hygiene protocols; should the situation change, staff can – due to our investment in technology – continue to work from home if required without a change in service levels to members.
'With regard to our 80th Anniversary Afternoon Tea, we are currently discussing the situation with the hotel concerned, and the organisers of The Dentistry Show. If the Tea is postponed, we will make an announcement and contact those who had indicated they wished to attend.
'Links to the guidance issued by the various appropriate authorities are available on the BADN website, www.badn.org.uk. We would urge members to use these to obtain facts regarding the current situation, rather than dubious sources on various social media; and remind members of both our Health & Wellbeing Hub and our counselling/support helpline, which are accessed through the members’ area of our website – just two of the many services offered to BADN members at this difficult time.’
