​Dental teams are invited to nominate their colleagues for an award – especially those who they believe have shone throughout the pandemic.

Dental recruitment specialists, Diamond Dental Staff, is launching its second awards ceremony – with this year’s event aimed to celebrate those in dentistry who have excelled through 2020, despite the impact of COVID-19 .

Dental practices and their teams are invited to nominate someone they feel deserves recognition in the following categories:

  • Best Dental Receptionist
  • Best Trainee Dental Nurse
  • Best Dental Nurse
  • Best Treatment Coordinator
  • Best Dental Hygienist & Therapist
  • Best Practice Manager
  • Best Associate Dentist
  • Best Principal Dentist
  • Best Team Player.

Each winner will receive a goodie bag, with prizes to include:

  • Diamond Dental Staff’s gifts of £25 and £50 Amazon vouchers
  • Two x annual subscription to Dental Nursing journal, each worth £136
  • Philips 4300 toothbrushes to each winner, each worth £59.99

There will also a special recognition award to honour someone within the industry who the team at Diamond Dental Staff feel have gone that extra mile.

Nominations are now open and will be reviewed by all members of the Diamond Dental Staff Team.

The deadline is midnight on 31 December and the winners will be announced on Monday 4 January 2021.

Emma added: ‘We encourage dental practices and their teams to nominate someone they feel deserves to be recognised. Please provide as much detail as possible when making a nomination. Self-nominations are welcome.
