A London based oral care brand has received advice from business guru Deborah Meaden, as part of a new mini-series designed to give practical support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
With over 800 registrants, Cintillate Oral Care is one of just seven small businesses to share its challenges and receive advice as part of the ‘Let’s Partner Up for Good’ series by Nescafé by Nestlé Professional.
The oral care brand has said it is committed to having a positive impact on both individuals and the environment, by focusing on quality, sustainability, and wellbeing.
Haris Mazhar, chief executive officer of Cintillate Oral Care, appeared in the third episode of the series which focuses on sustainability. Deborah Meaden and Nescafé business experts discuss several areas under this topic, including integrating sustainability into your businesses, reducing carbon footprint and responsible sourcing.
Deborah Meaden gave this advice to the brand, “The truth is that in business, it is never pure. There are a lot of conflicting decisions. Net zero can sometimes conflict with nature or can conflict with ethics. It is never straightforward. So, what you need to do is come up with your hierarchy. These are the things that we care about, and it will help you filter your decisions.”
Haris commented, “Through our collaboration with Deborah and the Nestlé Professional’s Let’s Partner Up for Good campaign, we have gained invaluable insights into the practical steps SMEs can take to reduce their carbon footprint. One key takeaway has been the importance of integrating sustainability into every aspect of the business, from responsible sourcing to energy-efficient operations. We are committed to implementing these strategies, not only to minimise our environmental impact but also to set a benchmark for responsible business practices in our industry."
